The brain's number one priority is survival. Our need to stay safe and survive has made us overly sensitive to potential threats. While detecting threats could save our lives under the right conditions, much of what we see as threatening are really just stressful events that don't require an immediate response. This episode will explore the six ways our brains make us vigilant to threats and how we can decondition this response by taking in the good. Following the talk there will be a guided meditation.
