There is a song in you that cannot be silenced. Why did Moses and the sons of Israel sing the song? They had been delivered from Pharaoh. They are on the other side of the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army had been destroyed. It is easy to sing on the other side of the Red Sea.
We are all on the other side of the Red Sea. The truth is bigger that the facts. No matter what your situation, you are actually on the other side of the Red Sea. We are not trying to sing our way into victory. We are not singing away the pain or the fight. We forget the truth. The truth is that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. So we should be singing!
We don’t worship FOR breakthrough; we worship FROM breakthrough! We don’t worship FOR victory; we worship FROM victory!
Magnifying glasses make things look larger than they are. Take the magnifying glass off of our problems and challenges. We should be magnifying the Lord in our worship. He is larger than our problems and great and worthy of our praise. He is too small in our eyes. Let’s see Him for who He really is!
The Lord is my strength and my song. It is important that He is MY strength and MY song. Not the He is merely strong.
Did you know that God sings? He does. The bible says so. And that is why we sing.
