By going through these degrading tunnels of despair and seeing God’s handiwork in it, Joseph emerges with victory for all. How can Joseph suffer through this like this without forming the worst and most bitter attitude. Each betrayal of Joseph, leads to another success at another lower point.
This is a descent in to success. Betrayal by brothers leads to success in Potiphar’s house. Betrayal by Potiphar’s wife leads to success in the prison house. Each betrayal taking him one step closer to his dreams! To his triumph. In all these situations he attributes success to God.
What annoys the enemy the most is that in your darkest and most difficult moments you call on God and give him praise. This is the most powerful spiritual warfare.
