EPISODE 85: BE RENEWED IN SELF

I’m sure most of you have heard about the verses in the Bible that talk about renewing your mind, spirit, etc. But have you stopped to think about why or how it affects your life if you don’t? Renewing ourselves is part of the great commission. Jesus called us to go and share the gospel. To love the Lord and love others. What He didn’t intend was for us to do this in our own might or power. He knew we could not. That is why he gave us the Holy Spirit to indwell in us richly so that we could have the source of power and of might to grow in the knowledge of God so that we could live daily in His image. Today we are looking at putting off the old and putting on the new. What does that mean, look like, or even how can we do that? The answers are in the word…they just need to be heard and understood.
