WAP 225: Lessons Learned From The Thousand Oaks California Shooting
Today on the Wasted Ammo podcast we cover the Thousand Oaks shooting - where a 28-year-old, former Marine, walked into the packed Borderline Bar& Grill armed with a Glock 21 and opened fire late Wednesday night. As usual, the mass killer eventually turned the gun on himself but not before killing 12 people, including a veteran sheriff's sergeant who rushed in to save lives. California has a prolifera of gun laws on the books - an anti-gunner's wet-dream list of infringements - but it could not stop a person who has evil intent and who wanted to kill as many people as possible. Today we talk about the shooting, go over all the laws in California that didn't help, talk about some correlation between killers and absent fathers, and we wrap up this episode with some lessons learned. Enjoy!
