Everyone has a role to play in creating and sustaining an inclusive work environment, but white men often opt out of, or are excluded from, diversity and inclusion efforts because the focus is on underrepresented groups. When white men are fully engaged in diversity efforts, they can help effect change at every level, and they also benefit from a healthy, inclusive workspace. Participants explore assumptions regarding white men, diversity, and leadership that impact behavior and shape the work environment, and they identify the next steps they can take to become fully inclusive partners working across differences to foster an equitable workplace culture.
