Tottenham are riding a crest of wave after they drew at Barcelona to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League, beat Burnley at the death to continue their best ever start to a Premier League season, and then won 2-0 at North London neighbours Arsenal in midweek to make it through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

They also have a great recent record against Everton. They’ve not tasted defeat to the Blues since December 2012 when those late, late goals from Nikica Jelavic and Steven Pienaar earned David Moyes’ side an unlikely victory.
