Back in 2017 Kevin Smith announced that he was working on a reboot of sorts for the Jay and Silent Bob characters that are found in many of his films, and now it seems like further progress is being made in the creation of that film. Smith posted to Twitter a photo of a "pre-pre-production" meeting for the film on January 1st. Let's discuss the proposed plot of the film, and whether or not Jay and Silent Bob still work as characters in 2019.
