On Thursday March 10, 2011, Mike Colle, MPP (Minister of Provincial Parliament) for Eglinton-Lawrence inToronto, Ontario introduced a private member's bill to establish a provincial body called Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Care Ontario. MPP Colle is calling for a provincial strategy to develop comprehensive coordinated care, promote awareness, and advocate for individuals living with these disorders. In this episode, Sherman Moore, a return guest to the show, talks about the significance about this event and how we can help get this bill passed.
