Today I sat down with Blair Brown for an experimental "long form" chat. Just having fun chatting with the microphones turned on.
Blair is one of the world's most prolific Snare Drummers. He played for years with the great Jim Kilpatrick, and has placed in the top three at the World Solo Drumming Championships many times. His brothers (Glenn and Graham) are also famous in the piping scene. In addition to being a great player, he is an ultra-experienced drumming teacher as well.
Together we discuss:
- Jack Lee's sleep craft.
- Awesome TV shows.
- Will the great Titans of piping regret not doing more to "legitimize" our competition systems?
- Should there be a bagpipe band Olympics? If so, who would be the leaders of the various countries?
