Welcome to the next installment of the Leadership Vision Podcast where we share our expertise in the discovery, practice, and implementation of a strengths-based approach to people, teams, and culture. Today on the podcast, Brian Schubring and I are talking about what it takes to reach that next level of leadership fitness. We call it becoming Leadership Lean.
This time of year, January, many people, maybe even you, are setting goals, especially involving fitness and other health related pursuits. Could be exercising, eating better, trying to accomplish specific achievements or milestones, or just trying to incorporate more movement into your daily life. Whatever it is, all of that involves a disciplined learning and unlearning of certain behaviors. This is true of anything you want to get better at, be that parenting, podcasting, or the pursuit of your loft goals. We need to move beyond the space we’re currently at and move into what could be an area that’s a little scary.
Today on the show, we’re going to be exploring and unpacking this idea of what it takes to become Leadership Lean. Brian shares his four L model that includes Listening, Leaning, Learning, and finally, Leading.
Enjoy!
