First, Chris talks to Tom Hennigan about the political crisis in Venezuela. Protests had been growing since Nicolas Maduro began a second term as president this month. Then last week, opposition leader Juan Guaidó declared himself president, a move that has been recognised by more than 20 countries, including the US, which has imposed sanctions on Venezuelan oil for the first time. But even if Maduro is successfully ousted, there’s no quick turnaround for Venezuela.
