Ep. 04 - Biblical Literacy - Conversation with Megan Webbon
This is our final episode in our series on Biblical Literacy. We had the great joy of interviewing Megan Webbon about her walk with Biblical Literacy. I love hearing Megan’s heart about how the gospel and biblical literacy work together. One of my favorite quotes from Meg, “Biblical literacy is the Christian’s ability to know and understand the truths of the gospel through the written words of scripture so that he or she may better know the holiness of God and how we are called to glorify him as our savior.

“Biblical literacy is the Christian’s ability to know and understand the truths of the gospel through the written words of scripture so that he or she may better know the holiness of God and how we are called to glorify him as our savior.”
“But we could also talk about how the gospel gives us a desire for biblical literacy and how the gospel catches us when we fail to desire biblical literacy rightly.”
“But understanding the Bible gives us insight into first, who God is, and second who we are in light of who he is. In a world, where it seems like the media, academia, parents, bosses, are all fighting to define me as a woman, I desperately need to understand how God’s word defines me.”
