Butter. Paper. Vinegar. Skunks. We've all tasted some flavors in beer that definitely shouldn't be there. Learn about what causes these defects—and how you can avoid them—in this brain-exploding presentation from Four Peaks laboratory technicians and on-staff Cicerones. Each ticket includes a flight of four spiked beers plus one control beer. Attendees will also receive commemorative glassware.    Arm Wrestling Throwdown! Wednesday, February 13 6:00 – 9:00pm Boulders On Southern Join the women of the Arizona Craft beer scene in an arm wrestling Throwdown! A tournament to raise money for the Pink Boots Society of Arizona. We will have raffle prizes, silent auction items and of course great beer! Come show your support for the women of the Arizona beer scene and cheer on your favorite wrestler!    Be My Player 2 Valentines Beer Dinner Thursday, February 14 6:30 – 8:30pm 8-Bit Aleworks We're bringing back our Be My Player 2 Beer pairing dinner for Valentine's Day! Last year tickets sold out in less than a week so don't delay!   Mario and Princess Peach, Link and Zelda, Cloud and Aerith, Squall and Rinoa… video games have no shortage of epic romances. That being said, gamers tend to be pretty laid-back in love, so that’s the approach we’re taking to celebrate Valentine’s Day at 8-Bit Aleworks.   Prior to opening a brewery, when they still had time for time for such celebrations, Ryan and Krystina spent every Valentine’s Day for almost a decade with takeout Chinese food and a cheesy movie of Mrs. 8-Bit’s choosing. This year, 8-Bit’s Player 1 and Player 2 are bringing their tradition to you with the help of Chinoz Grill Food Truck.   Spend an evening enjoying a 5-course meal of Chinese food, each course is paired perfectly with 8-Bit brews and a few other special treats, we're even letting you pick between Ryan or Krystina's favorite main course (Honey Walnut Shrimp or Beef and Broccoli). If you’re looking for a unique and relaxed way to spend February 14th, join us at 8-Bit Aleworks with your favorite Player 2!   Tickets are $80 per couple and must be purchased in advance.
