Twenty five years ago, southern California was on shaky ground (literally!) The world as we knew it in the San Fernando Valley crumbled. At 4:31am on January 17, 1994 the ground shook with a 6.7 earthquake. There were deaths, destruction and it was very difficult for our commuters who had very little ground to transport to and from. Wherever you were, if you're a so cal native, it's one of those historic days that are hard to forget. This morning, Ellen K called Rick Dees to reflect on this day, twenty five years ago.
