Powers Picks – College Football, NBA All-Star Game, and College Basketball

On the Thursday February 14 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com for this week’s Powers Picks segment. Adam and Brad talked about preparing for the 2019 CFB season, the NBA All-Star Game, and perceptions of top teams and their college basketball futures odds. Bill Connelly’s college football season previews are rolling out, well in advance of other preseason mags, so those are required reading for all college football bettors. Brad talked about what he takes from those and also about how they affect his prep. The NBA All-Star Game yields some betting opportunities, but the majority of the rest of the segment was on college hoops, as the guys discussed the NCAA Committee reveal to uncover overrated and underrated teams. They parlayed that into a talk about futures betting and this weekend’s card.
