Royal Blue: Marco Silva, what he's like away from the cameras, and the importance of the Cardiff City match to his future
With injury and unavailability ravaging the ECHO sportsdesk, there’s no Kirkbride, no Prentice, no Buckland, no Beesley and no Carroll for the latest Royal Blue podcast.
But one of our big names has been passed fit, and Everton FC reporter Adam Jones joins stand-in host Paul Wheelock to preview tonight's massive match at Cardiff City and answer questions from listeners that were submitted on Twitter and on our Royal Blue Facebook page, which you can join by clicking HERE.
Adam was at Finch Farm on Monday morning for Silva's pre-Cardiff press conference and he gives his reaction to the Everton's manager response to one question in particular - and then an insight into what the Portuguese is like, away from the cameras, in his one-to-one interviews with the ECHO.
There is no doubt that Silva has come under increasing pressure in a worrying run of 10 defeats from the last 16 games in all competitions.
But is it time the players carried some of the blame? And, if they cannot stand up and be counted, is it time for two old heads to return to the team?
Adam answers those questions before mulling over the listener ones that have been sent in. A lot surround Silva's future.
Oh, and the little matter of this weekend's Merseyside derby gets a mention, too.
Which no doubt will be covered more in our first ever Royal Blue Live event, held at the Baltic Market in Liverpool city centre this coming Wednesday (February 27).
Tickets cost just a fiver, include a free drink, and can be purchased by clicking HERE.
