We're taking a slight detour to break up the monotony of shoestring budget Stephen King adaptations from the late '90s, and exploring the King family tree. Stephen King's son, Joe Hill, is a novelist and acclaimed comic book writer in his own right, and in 2013 his novel HORNS was adapted for film. An attempt at an Americanized magical realism, HORNS is packed with supernatural goings-on, religious imagery, and flimsy female characters. It is, undeniably, something.
Also in this episode: Dan is finally the one who knows the plot points of the movie.
