Best known for his television roles as Rick Sammler on Once and Again, as Det. Joey Indelli on Crime Story, as Jordan Collier on The 4400, and as Dr. Jon Fielding on the Tales of the City miniseries. He is also known for his recurring role as Luke Fuller in Dynasty which was his first prominent role. His most notable films include Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Enough. He portrayed Darren Richmond on the AMC television series The Killing, and played Dr. Alan Farragut in the SyFy series Helix.
And he was the title character in a little film called The Rocketeer.
Cliff and Malcolm are standing in front of the Bulldog Cafe, watching Jenny leave on a bus.
Malcolm looks at Cliff. “Cliff, I — uh, I’m sorry. Uh, I really stuck my -” says Malcolm.
“Oh Malcolm,” says Cliff, waving his hamburger, “it’s okay. It’s alright. It’s not your fault.” Cliff heads back into the Bull Dog Cafe. Malcolm stays outside, looking down the rode where Jenny just left.
Later, at 1635 Palm Terrace, the the Arts & Crafts style home of A. Peabody and C. Secord (as it says on the mailbox), Cliff pulls the Model T pickup truck into the driveway.
In the dining room, Peevy is etching lines on an Art Deco bread box. Cliff walks in through the front door. Peevy glances up from his work.
“Well,” says Peevy, “did you have a good time?”
“Yeah,” says Cliff. “Go ahead and stick that welding torch in my ear and we’ll call it an end of a perfect day.” Cliff straddles a kitchen chair, backwards. Peevy studies him, then goes back to working on the bread box.
“What were you two scrapping about this time?” asks Peevy.
“I dunno, Peeve, ” replies Cliff. “I just can’t figure this girl out. I mean, she hangs around with this Hollywood crowd all day, talking about — movie stars and night clubs…”
“So what?” replies Peevy. “That’s her work! She don’t -”
