HUMBOWL - Spirituality, Personal Growth, Meditation, Higher Consciousness
Religion & Spirituality:Spirituality
I found a new appreciation for every other human being in my life. I had a deep daydream about being endlessly rich, cars, clothes, houses, the whole nine. The only exception is you will never see another human being ever again. Not even a person serving your coffee. I assume this life would absolutely depression. Even if you are introvert, we live for others, whether we care to admit it or not. You write music, other people listen, you post a photo, others like it, you buy a new shirt, to show it off. Recently I have been looking at others from a different perspective. Seeing the pure, childlike, part of everyone. That part of us that wants nothing more than to be loved, to be happy, to be at peace. We all want this, and we are all constantly doing everything we can to approach this pleasure and escape the pain that life can, unfortunately, plague us with. We all simply have our own ways of going about this. Some help others, some compete with others, some steal and others keep to themselves. People use food, drugs, television and social media to escape pain and gain pleasure. Given the conditions of their upbringing and other factors, they have concluded what they believe is "the way" to feel better. When I started seeing this in others, I instantly was incapable of judging. All I can do is have an appreciation and sympathy for everyone I encounter. By doing this, I'm able to connect with others in such a profound way. Human interactions energize me. I am eager to make their day a little brighter. If they respond with negativity, I just silently send them love and move on. Everyone has their "way" and that is ok. Obviously, there are people on this planet that do what we perceive to be terrible or evil. But it is all subjective. We are in no place to judge. Sending judgment will just perpetuate negativity and create more of what you see as wrong. Keep your focus on love. Judge not. Seek to understand. First, practice this with people you are close with, and accept their so-called "flaws" fully and love them for these attributes. Slowly work your way to people you see even more flawed attributes and love them unconditionally. You will find your heart is open when you interact with these individuals. They will feel more connected and safe around you. If you consider yourself to be a lonely person, these interactions will energize you and you will forget about this emptiness. I can't tell you love is right or wrong, that pleasure is better than pain. Much like yourself, I have experienced both ends of this spectrum, and I much prefer love. So that is what I stand for. If you agree then I urge you to try this! Thank you so much, I appreciate you.
