February is Heart Health Month, and in this episode we talk about the best ways to prevent heart disease, women and heart disease, and the good and bad types of cholesterols. We get into a little bit of everything in this episode. It's a mashup of a few different recordings so you'll notice a few transitions that aren't that smooth. We apologize for that in advance, but the message is really good. Take care of your heart! It's interesting how just trying to take care of your heart can reduce your risk of heart disease. Dr. Rogers talks about how even having a blood pressure monitor at home can help your blood pressure. This is similar to the mindset of writing down what you eat as a way of eating healthier.
