We’re nearing the end of 2018 and I’m sure, for many of us, it feels like the whole world is in planning mode for 2019. But my suggestion would be that, before you decide how many thousands of clients, millions of dollars or hundreds of multi-step projects you’re going to take on in 2019, you start by slowing down and reviewing this past year.
One of my favorite quotes is- “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to relive it.” by George Santayana
What that means to me in business is this: you know that client who’s every meeting you dreaded and gave you a knot in your stomach? Yeah, if you don’t figure out why you felt that way, there’s no way you’ll be able to course correct and eliminate whatever took you out of alignment. You know how, in order to make $3K per month this year you were working 60 hrs per week? There’s no way to double your income without figuring out what services to keep, what to toss, and where to increase pricing.
So let’s start with our review.
In this episode, we’re going to talk about the process I use to review my year. It’s called SPACE which stands for strategy, profit, achievements, clients, and energy. My taking the time to move through this process section by section, we’ll get a clear and full understanding of what we really want for our business in the future.
