Mark 13:6-33 “Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. 7When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. …8There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines… You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues… 12put to death. 13Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved… 33Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.”
Summary: To give us a new and better identity, God dismantles our old beliefs, hopes, and communities.

1. According to Mark 13, what things must happen before God's Kingdom comes to earth in its fulness? How do these things dismantle the past in order for a new and better Kingdom to be built?
2. To purify your devotion to Him, what does God need to dismantle in your life?
3. According to Mark 13:10, what will happen before Jesus returns? Why does our participation in this mission reveal a heart that longs for him and His kingdom?
