Today’s episode is a recording of me delivering the July 16th Increasing Tension ride. I love doing the increasing tension rides as it is a great opportunity to work on both endurance and strength. I also like the increasing tension format because it teaches the riders to moderate their gears so that they can keep on adding tension up until the very end. We all know those riders that just set their tension at moderately heavy and stay there throughout the class.I know that we have used most of their songs before at one point or another, but most have not been used in their current Heart Zone or for the purpose that I have them in this ride. Overall, I designed the ride to add tension, then increase the intensity through a higher cadence, then drop the cadence and add tension again. At the end there are two sprints which make a great finisher.Remember, you can get the full PDF or the ride choreography, the Apple Music and Spotify playlists, and the downloadable file to put all of the cues into MyFitnessDJ, as well as the link to purchase the class for iClass Builder at indoorcycleinstructor.com. There is no other monthly service out there that does as much for you, the instructor.I hope you enjoy this ride as much as I enjoyed riding and delivering it.Joey
