Melissa says that running this beer week event is similar to planning 10 weddings. Some of the important things that Melissa and 818 have found out is that being a neutral party is a good thing for running a big beer event like this. Also, they played a pretty great and smart move by piggybacking off of the popular annual beer festival put on by Iowa Brewers Guild.
