WRITERS ON THE BEAT: Retired Detective Constable and Author Rebecca Bradley talks UK Policing
Retired Detective Constable and crime author Rebecca Bradley stopped into the Interrogation Room to answer a few questions. Rebecca has released four novels in the D-I Hannah Robbins series and a standalone thriller, called DEAD BLIND. She retired from the police service after 16 years, by which time she worked as a detective constable on a specialist unit. In addition to her writing, she runs a consulting service to help crime writers tell more authentic stories. Book 5 of her D-I Hannah Robbins series, called KILL FOR ME, released on Valentine’s Day and faces readers with an impossible moral dilemma: could you commit a murder to save your child?
In this episode, Rebecca and host Gavin Reese discuss writing UK police procedurals, providing technical advisement to civilian writers, and why Sir Robert Peeler is important to both of them.
