121: Interview with Jimmy Collins Retired Chick-fil-A President/COO (Part 2 of 3)
I'm excited to introduce you to my friend and mentor, Jimmy Collins.
Jimmy retired on May 31, 2001 as the President and COO of Chick-fil-A. He was Chick-fil-A Founder Truett Cathy's third corporate employee.
Jimmy invested nearly 33 years helping Truett Cathy grow Chick-fil-A from startup to $1 Billion in annual sales.
I had the privilege of meeting Jimmy on June 18, 2015. We've been friends ever since. I also consider Jimmy a mentor. I love who he is and what he represents.
In this three part series, Jimmy shares a bit about his upbringing and stories related to his days at Chick-fil-A. Many of these stories and others are contained in his two books: Creative Followership: In the Shadow of Greatness and Jimmy's Stories. If you like this series, you will love these books!
