3. PA’S Jerusalem “mayor” & Intel chief arrested
The Palestinian authority is harshly condemning Israel right now, over the weekend arrests of two top Palestinian authority officials. Israeli Security Forces arrested the Palestinian authority’s Jerusalem governor, Adnan Ghaith, and Col. Jihad Faqih, the commander of the PA’S intelligence service for the Jerusalem area.
Last week we reported the murder of Angoach Malkmu Wasa was shot to death by her husband in the presence of her three young children. Over the past month alone, intra-family gun violence has taken the lives of two Israeli women. To protest this rising violence, hundreds of Israelis took to the streets over the past week across 20 different cities in Israel.
