   In a shocking move, Jordan’s King Abdullah II announced yesterday in Amman that he will not be renewing a special clause in the 1994 Israel Jordan peace agreement, which will allow the Hashemite kingdom to annex two sites currently under Israeli control.

3. PA’S Jerusalem “mayor” & Intel chief arrested

The Palestinian authority is harshly condemning Israel right now, over the weekend arrests of two top Palestinian authority officials. Israeli Security Forces arrested the Palestinian authority’s Jerusalem governor, Adnan Ghaith, and Col. Jihad Faqih, the commander of the PA’S intelligence service for the Jerusalem area.

Last week we reported the murder of Angoach Malkmu Wasa was shot to death by her husband in the presence of her three young children. Over the past month alone, intra-family gun violence has taken the lives of two Israeli women. To protest this rising violence, hundreds of Israelis took to the streets over the past week across 20 different cities in Israel.

Canada’s cannabis legalization took effect nationally last week and in the few days following retail shops have nearly completely sold out. The newly legal industry is expected to be worth 6.5 billion in annual sales in Canada alone and now Israel’s medical cannabis sector is trying to buy in.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has again just delayed a draft law backed by Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and kulanu Knesset member Rachel Azaria which would allow the state to confiscate lands in Israel that have been sold to private developers by the Greek orthodox church in Jerusalem.

10. U.S. baseball players get Israeli citizenship

10 American Jewish baseball players have finally landed in Israel after deciding to gain Israeli citizenship in order to participate in the 2020 Olympics with the country's national team. The players applied together for their Aliyah, and received their citizenship last week Wednesday, in Jaffa.
