1. Knesset member resigns over nation-state law
   A member of the Knesset has just taken a surprising stand against the government’s recent passage of the Jewish nation-state law. M-K Zouheir Bahloul, an Arab-Israeli member of the labor party has officially resigned from his position, accusing the government of becoming the “private estate of Netanyahu and his cohorts.”

3. Israeli killed in stabbing attack

Shortly before the weekend, an Israeli man was stabbed to death in the West Bank by a 17 year-old Palestinian attacker in the settlement of Adam. The victim, Yotam Ovadia, was a father of two. The suspect breached the security barrier of the Adam settlement in the West Bank, and penetrated deep into the community before encountering Ovadia in the streets sometime before 9 p-m on Thursday night.

   Speaking of a ‘relative calm’, things along the Gaza border have been anything but two Palestinians were killed over the weekend, including a twelve year-old boy, in clashes with Israeli troops. This brings the overall Palestinian death toll to nearly 160 since those weekly clashes first started earlier this year. ILTV’S Aaron Poris has more.

   Well if you’re living in the Golan Heights, you may have just felt the earth tremble a bit. It was most likely the detonation of 350 active landmines in the Golan Heights. Don’t worry though, this wasn’t an accident. Just a controlled explosion conducted by the Israeli army to help clean up the land in the north.
