1. Emergency rescue in Thailand underway

The rescue of twelve boys and their soccer coach trapped in a cave in Thailand has just become a race against the clock as the group has been trapped in the cave system for over two weeks now. Israeli rescuers have joined an international team in an attempt to save the boys before incoming rains raise the floodwaters to deadly new heights. An emergency underwater rescue is now also underway, and as of now at least six of the boys have been safely rescued.

2. Russia brokers ceasefire in Southern Syria

Dr. Martin Sherman, Founder & Executive Director of the IISS speaking at ILTV Studio about how Russian officials have just broken a ceasefire deal between rebels forces in Syria and the Assad regime and if it will effect Israel.

3. U.S. eyes Gaza in lieu of peace deal

It looks like we may never learn the full details of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for Mideast peace. That’s because the White House has reportedly put the deal on the backburner following unified rejection from the Palestinians. The Trump administration instead may be switching gears instead and focus on fixing Gaza, in hopes of demonstrating its commitment to peace.

4. Poland advertises joint statement on Holocaust

Following months of tension between Israel and Poland over Poland’s controversial Holocaust Law, the two countries’ Prime Ministers came together to end the spat. Poland walked back the law, no longer criminalizing those who accuse the country of being complicit with the Nazi’s. Shortly thereafter, Netanyahu and Polish Prime Minister Mor-Aveski signed a joint statement to bury the hatchet.

5. Israel jailing migrant children
   We’ve just learned that the state of Israel has apparently put half a dozen children of African Asylum Seekers in jail. The children have been imprisoned for nearly a month now with their mothers in the Givon prison. Chilling photographs and video footage taken at Givon have sparked impassioned cries of horror all over the world.

   U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just come to Israel to accept the country’s prestigious Genesis Award for a lifetime achievement in advancing women’s rights, and fighting for gender equality. Justice Ginsburg is the second woman to be placed on the highest court in the United States of America.
8. And the doors have official opened

9. Mossad recovers watch of legendary Israeli spy
   Eli Cohen was one of Israel’s most legendary spies. During his time in the field, Cohen was able to infiltrate some of the highest ranks of Syrian leadership gaining Intel that undoubtedly proved essential to Israeli defense strategies. Cohen ultimately paid the ultimate price for his patriotism, in 1965… when he was exposed by syrian intelligence, and executed. Until now all remains of Cohen have been held in Syria but mere days ago, the Mossad announced that they had recovered a crucial personal effect of Cohen’s the watch he wore as a spy and returned it to Israel.
