This was the city’s twentieth pride parade, what started off as a modest gathering for L-G-B-T-Q rights back in 1998 has since exploded into the Middle East’s single largest festivity for gay equality and free expression.
This weekend nearly ten thousand Palestinians gathered for fresh protests along the border leading to violent clashes with the I-D-F. At this time at least four Palestinians, including one minor, have been killed by the I-D-F in these latest clashes.
