The Israeli government has just scrapped its controversial plan to forcibly deport African Asylum Seekers from the country, and as of this moment, all Asylum Seekers will be able to continue renewing their temporary visas to stay in the country.

   A top Iranian official says the regime plans a swift and decisive punishment against Israel, in retaliation for an attack on the t-four air-base in Syria that killed seven Iranian nationals earlier this month.
4. Ethiopian soldier overcomes hate

Pakada, an Ethiopian- Israeli, was serving in the I.D.F, when a police officer stopped him on his bike, and apparently unprovoked, began to beat him. A security camera nearby captured the entire incident, the resulting video ignited an entire movement of Ethiopian-Israeli activism against suspected racial targeting.

   A team at the Hebrew University has just created an incredible new Atlas of the human genome. This atlas incorporates actual embryonic stem cells to not only create a more detailed map than ever before, but one that also reveals the role that every last gene plays in creating the human body.
