JIM GAFFIGAN worked in the advertising business on award-winning campaigns for Sierra Mist, ESPN, Saturn, and Rolling Rock, earning him Business Week's 1999 salesman of the year award. He got his first big break on “Late Show with David Letterman,” who handpicked him to develop a CBS sitcom, “Welcome to New York,” shot in the big apple. He has appeared on numerous TV series and feature films including the Dan Aykroyd series “Soul Man” and the films “Three Kings” and “Super Troopers.” Jim has been nominated for two Grammy awards, his last special was the most watched special on Comedy Central in 2014, the accompanying album was number 11 on the main Billboard charts and # 1 on the comedy charts…and in 2015, he performed at Madison Square Garden. As of June 2016, gaffigan was the most popular comic on Pandora, with over 647 million plays, while garnering over 2 1/2 million followers on twitter. JEANNIE GAFFIGAN has a masters degree in directing from Marquette University, and went on to work at a repertory theater in Milwaukee, before she moved to New York, where she performed in sketch comedy groups and theater companies where playwrights developed original plays. Soon after, she founded the not-for-profit theater company “Shakespeare on the Playground,” dedicated to teaching literacy and production to urban youth through the performance of full shakespearean plays. Together they wrote and executive produced all 5 of Jim's award winning comedy specials (the last one directed by Jeannie)…the animated series “Pale Force,” starring Jim and Conan O'Brien, for which they received an Emmy nomination… and the most recent tv land series “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” where Jeannie received the Christopher and Elouqentia Perfecta awards for her work in television. Together they wrote and executive produced all 22 episodes and are one of the most prolific husband and wife teams in the business.
