Today’s episode is the first in a two part instalment with Chek Professional and all round great guy Nico Becker.
I first came across Nico on instagram - as I have a few of our guests - as we shared a very similar philosophy to health and wellbeing. And, after I got chatting to him I found out he was a fan of the show, so I thought it would be great to get him on and have a conversation with him.
As you will hear in the show, Nico is a great person who is full of knowledge as well as real life practical experience. He uses that knowledge and experience to work with people from all around the world to be more happy, healthy & whole in body-mind & spirit. He helps people to find and live their true, authentic self in the never ending flow of change.
Nico approaches each client in a holistic and individual way, teaching a wide range of knowledge from diet, exercise & lifestyle factors to the importance of finding your dream and living your legacy in our chaotic and stressful world.
Nico is a Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3 & CHEK Practitioner Trainer, and has also completed a 500Hour Yoga Teacher apprenticeship.
These intensive studies form, together with his 8 year experience as an athlete & trainer in Boxing, MMA and Grappling, the basis of his knowledge & wide ranged skills.
In the episode we discuss:
Nico’s journey as a young athlete
What put a stop to Nico’s dream of becoming an athlete
How a trip to the Carribean ended in disaster for him
Nico’s 3 main tips for health
Why killing yourself in the gym probably isn’t the answer to your health and body image issues
Nico’s experience with plant medicines and much, much more
It was great talking to Nico, so much so that time flew by and we didn’t get to talk about some of the deeper issues. This meant I asked Nico to come back on the show next week so we can get into the deeper issues such as consciousness, perception and working with our soul … so look out for that episode next week.
