Today in Education #8 - Higher Education for Refugees, Training School Leaders to Spend Wisely, and Improving STEM Education
Good morning! Today we're discussing Serene Gallegos, leader of the Ignite My Future in School (IMFIS) initiative, an educational program designed to help instill computational thinking in American students and expand STEM skills within their curriculum. We're also looking at the disconnect between providing access and providing support for refugees enrolled in higher education programs, as well as an argument that district leaders should be professionally trained to make the most of their schools' money.
