Sue has over 20 years working as a Paramedic and working with Combat Athletes to help them safely make weight.
In this episode, we discuss the importance of being able to assess body composition and fluid balance to determine the safe parameters in which a fighter can safely make weight and what you need to be aware of to safely rehydrate after weigh-ins. We also discuss what needs to be done in the team environment to ensure that coaches, managers and teammates are all supporting these safe practices.
