It comes after news a key witness in a murder trial, a jailhouse snitch who had more than $20,000 spent on his protection, gave false evidence under oath.
Tim McKinnel, a former detective and director of investigation firm Zavest told Simon and Phil that the rules around the use of such evidence needs careful examination to prevent miscarriages of justice.
