Harriett speaks to Sarah Toms who’s 12 year old son Charlie is transitioning to live as a girl. 

She offers her experience openly and honestly, telling Harriet the journey Charlie has been on, the small signs that her child was unhappy with their gender and the questions she and her husband had as well as how they are navigating this time and the steps they took. 

Sarah also talks about the amazing support they received from the school’s Charlie was in around LGBT issues and eduction. She gives her advice to people and other parents who may also be going through this too.
