Chances are, if you ask ten design-builders -- What is an Owner’s Advisor? – you might get ten different answers. From the east coast to the west coast, and across all sectors, the role of the Owner advisor can be very different. Just the name itself varies significantly. That’s why DBIA’s Owner Advisor Task Force has been working with others in the industry to create a primer to help define the Owner Advisor role.
