A former All Blacks legend says the dramatic team selection for the second Bledisloe Cup is the right move.
The dropping of Owen Franks, Ben Smith and Rieko Ioane before the most important Bledisloe Cup test in four years has many saying it qualifies as one of the biggest reactions to a loss ever made by All Blacks coach Steve Hansen.
Sir John Kirwan told Simon and Phil while the move might seem dramatic, he takes his hat off to Hansen, and assistant coach Ian Foster for doing what needed to be done.
