August 20: Broncos starters show promise in 24-15 loss to the 49ers

The #Broncos fell on Monday Night to the visiting 49ers 24-15. The starters played a couple series as we saw Joe Flacco test downfield and make safe decisions to keep the Broncos offense rolling -- Emmanuel Sanders proved to everybody that he is back as he tested his routes against San Francisco's secondary, carrying the ball for a 19 yard end around and snagging a 40 yard reception that unfortunately got called back due to holding. The Broncos starting defense played 15 snaps and held the 49ers starting offense to 32 total yards and forced a turnover on the second play of the game.

We saw a lot of positive from the Broncos first team unit on O and D -- we also talk about why Garett Bolles will be fine and why Broncos Country should take a deep breath and be patient with him.

Unfortunately after the starters left the game, the Broncos second and third team units struggled to stop the 49ers offense. 

Special Teams also looks to be a strong area of concern for the team as they near the regular season.
