Time for some extremely short and extremely funny pieces by Max Adeler from the Saturday Evening Post of 1873.

Today’s tale concerns a newfangled invention of an improved stomach pump which included a ‘revrersible combination valve.’ Pandemonium, of course, ensues. We call this story ‘Dr. Bender.’
