He is still regarded as one of New Zealand Rugby League's greatest ever players but, when the curtain came down on his career 33 years ago, Olsen Filipaina was left with nothing.
Now he is warning today's Polynesian players of the pitfalls of handing all their money to family, to prevent them from ending up in the same position as he did.
He spoke to Simon and Phil about why he’s speaking up now to help other young athletes who may end up in a similar position.
