Rod Dixon getting kids across the world into running

Rod Dixon is one of the greatest runners in New Zealand.
Nelson born and bred, he won a bronze medal in the 1500 metres at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
His versatility saw him on the podium in third place at the 1982 world cross country championships in Italy.
His greatest victory came in the 1983 New York marathon, a win that took him all the way to the White House where he was congratulated by President Ronald Reagan.
Now living in California he’s spoke to Simon and Phil about his programme, now in several countries, to keep kids active called Kidsmarathon.
