September 3: Broncos sign ILB Corey Nelson to 1 year deal, Place Lock, Butt, Riddick on IR

As the Week 1 opener against the Oakland Raiders nears closer, the Broncos roster moves from the weekend became official on Monday after former Broncos ILB Corey Nelson signed a 1 year deal with the team to provide help at inside linebacker. This move comes as no surprise as Todd Davis's status remains up in the air as Vic Fangio stated "there's a chance" he plays. 

The Broncos also placed Jake Butt, Drew Lock, and Theo Riddick on Injured Reserve - which players can we expect to return early and would it be a negative thing for Jake Butt to recover and rehab his knee for a whole season?
