Hey girl, QQ- have you joined our email list yet? If not: Subscribe now lots of good stuff coming :)
Now in this Episode:
Being willing to suck at first
Pay attention to the advice you give yourself
Building confidence through feedback
Putting yourself out there to LEARN
Everybody SUCKS at the beginning.
Right? That may have caught you off guard, but it is SO TRUE! Honestly, I think we forget that most of the time when we start something new, we really SUCK.
But if you think about it, that's actually a GOOD thing, because it's how we learn & grow and ultimately get better.
So today I really wanted to give you two simple and tangible rules that you can apply to help change your mindset around “sucking” at something new and embracing that it’s just a part of the whole process!
I hope this helps girl & I can't wait to hear what you think!
Quotes:
“That type of concept of putting yourself out there, being willing to suck & then just learn as you go is so powerful.”
“What about, if we decided that we will not give ourselves advice that we wouldn’t say out loud to our best friend, or our daughter, when she was chasing a big goal.”
“We have to suck or we literally cannot get better. We can’t improve.”
“How can we actually get feedback or get better if we’re never NEW at something?”
“Even if you suck at first, you’re putting yourself out there. Sucking is on the path towards not sucking anymore!”
