It's hard to think about visiting Europe as an American without thinking about the ancient architecture, romantic cities, great food, and backpacking hostel to hostel. But when we planned a six-week Eurotrip last summer, we found that many things we had thought about traveling through Europe weren't exactly what we expected.
In this episode of Switchbacks, we'll lay out five common myths of traveling to Europe, and how we debunked those during our travel process, from planning to transportation and accommodations to activities. We'll also give brief homage to each of the nine countries we visited: Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Greece.
