On this week’s pod Mark Kenny and co-host Marija Taflaga chat to Anne McNaughton and Maiy Azize about Brexit, constitutional crisis, robodebt, Newstart, and the upcoming state visit to the US.
Mark Kenny is a Senior Fellow in the ANU Australian Studies Institute. He came to the university after a high-profile journalistic career including six years as chief political correspondent and national affairs editor for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Canberra Times.
Maiy Azize is an experienced campaigner, communicator, and manager. She is currently Director of Media and Communications at Anglicare Australia. Previously, she was responsible for the ACT Greens’ Federal Election Campaign and Territory Election Campaign.
Anne McNaughton is a Senior Lecturer at the ANU College of Law, as well as being a Fellow of the European Law Institute and one of the coordinators of the Special Interest Group on Contract Tort and Property Law. Anne’s research focuses on the European Union as a unique legal order in international law.
Marija Taflaga is a lecturer in the ANU School of Politics and International Relations. Her major research is on political parties and particularly the Liberal Party of Australia. She has previously worked in the Australian Parliamentary Press Gallery as a researcher at The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
