The Film Scene with Illeana Douglas
TV & Film:Film Interviews
TODAY: Kevin Nealon, American actor and comedian with one of the longest tenures as a cast member of SNL and an extensive career in film and scripted TV. After short stints in a few high school bands, Nealon shifted to comedy during college. He started his stand-up comedy career with gigs at The Improv in Los Angeles, studying other acts while bartending and honing his craft into his own. His reputation spread quick and he soon became a regular on Letterman, before getting hired as a cast member on SNL in 1986, a position for which he would hold for 9 years. His film career would take off during this time as well, and he would become a frequent collaborator with Adam Sandler and starred in other American comedy films such as Barhopping. Recently, he has played the regular role of Don Burns in Man With a Plan.
