EP 25: Mastering the Art and Science behind Copywriting with Ben Sim

In this episode, I am honored to have Ben Sim on the show. He is an accomplished copywriter who now works full time as a Senior Sales Copywriter for Mindvalley and runs his own workshops and seminars.

Ben had studied to become a lawyer, but quickly realized that’s not a line he wanted to pursue as a career. His true passion was teaching English, and he had always wanted to become an English teacher when he was young.

Shortly after completing his studies, Ben discovered the possibility of making a living from online marketing via Tai Lopez, and decided to dive deeper into copywriting since he’s always had an affinity with the English language.

We discussed familial pressures, finding your true calling in life, and Ben’s day to day as a copywriter. Ben also runs his own side hustle of conducting live workshops on copywriting, and actually generates most of his leads organically via Facebook Groups.

For any aspiring copywriters out there, Ben also shares exactly how he got started, and also gives some value bombs for those that plan to pursue online marketing.
